Dr office staff make me mad!!

I was supposed to have an appointment with the ob/gyn this a.m....made it back in early July, had it written down, double checked the date and location when I made it....I get there and the place is closed..so I called and was told be their machine to call the Allentown office...so I called and the girl says "oh the Quakertown office is closed this Wednesday, the doctor is out on disability, we called you and left a message"...NO THEY DIDN"T!....So she says, "oh wait your appointment was for September 28th, there is never a doctor in the Quakertown office on Wednesday"..WTH???!!!....

So she says "do you want to make another appointment"...I flipped on her!!...So now I am back to square one looking for a new OB/Gyn!!...Good thing I'm not sick or anything!!...Thanks for letting me vent!!

Yeah, I'd be looking for a new one too. Sounds like bad staffing to me.

It was probably good that it didn't work out after all. Sounds like they don't have their act together...that kind of thing always makes me wonder about cleanliness and all the other proceedures they should be following but probably aren't either. Good luck finding someone soon.

Good grief! Sounds like a podiatrist I had once. I called her on her cell phone to make a follow-up appointment, and she never called me back to tell me that she moved to another state! I found out from another doctor in the office.
