    our area has applesauce or apple slices, but not carrot sticks. they are part of the healthy choices they offer. like some of the menu, things that are offered are regional.

    I think parents are more influential concerning diet than advertising.When I see rising childhood obesity levels ,I look at the family table first and foremost.

    I find it astounding that while childhood obesity is becoming a major problem in th US, schools are reducing PE requirements and getting rid of recesses. Activity is necessary both to wieght management and to mental acuity! (And I HATED PE in school!!!)
