Breast cancer blog??
Does anyone know where to find one? I'd like to find one someone is writing that began when she first suspected and follows through her diagnosis various testing etc. Is anyone up to helping me find one?? I googled and found tons of doctor related ones. I'm not looking for medical speak and doctor blogs, just plain people talking about what they are going through, good, bad and ugly.

Missy, I'm a breast cancer survivor, and have several friends who are as well. IM me or email me if you'd like to talk.
Also, a really good book for you to read is "First You Cry". It's a journalist's journey through diagnosis and treatment, and it's awesome.
This is an awesome site as well:

Just a quick note. I do have some worries. I wont hide that. Docs found lumps that are questionable and none of my blood tests have come back favorable, nothing bad, but not favorable either. I have a mammogram scheduled for wednesday. And biopsises and an ultra sound tenatively scheduled too. To tell the truth I'd like to be diagnosed with something, because i'd rather know something can be done rather than spending the next long while trying to figure it out. Also i am young enough to ...in my mind...deal with it better now rather than later. I haven't been diagnosed with it, but that's the concern of the docs.

Missy, you are in my prayers!
I read www.especiallyheather.com almost daily. She has brain cancer. On her sidebar are several buttons for people dealing with cancer-- I know one is for people under age 45. You might find something there specific to brain cancer.

Forgot to add--- there's a button in the sidebar of my main blog for "Club 17". It's a group that does monthly self-exams and then checks in with the host. She gives out prizes to a random winner each month. It's a fun way to get the word out and to remind myself and others to keep doing our self-exams.

I didn't see this post until just now. My thoughts are with you. I hope the tests are coming out ok.

Turns out it's a fibroid and nothing to be concerned about.
