Default BArium test didn't go well

so he's sending me for a colonoscopy so he can take biopsy samples. Which means I get to do the Fleet prep kit all over again. it was awful last time and i am not looking forward to it this time. I am up set to say the very least. The only for sure diagnosis he gave was diverticulitis. Gotta go find out what that means. He said there's more but he wants to biopsy some things first. I have to do the Fleet kit today and then tomorrow have the colonoscopy. I'll be glad when this is all over with.

So glad you are taking care of yourself Missy. Sorry for the prep & the crazyness of it all.

my mom and dad, and i think my sister have diverticulitis, however it's spelled. the biggest adjustment that they ahve had to make is to watch what they eat. my mom avoids all seeds and nuts as they aggrievate it. i'm not sure what all else they do, but just listen to what the doctor tells you to do to keep it under control. and at least he would tell you about that, my mom's doc wouldn't even tell her about it until after teh colonoscopy. and my dad didn't find out about it until his intestine ruptured. defiantly not the way to find out.

i hope everything comes back normal and it just the diverticulitis you have to deal with.
    GOOD LUCK!

Ick! Colonoscopy prep is no fun!! Diverticulitis is relatively common though -- crossing my fingers for you that's all it is.

Sorry you have to go through that again today! You'll be in my thoughts and prayers that everything goes well tomorrow. After this is all over we're gonna have to go to lunch and celebrate, o.k.?!
