thrush diaper rash remedy

My daughter has recently had thrush in her mouth which has now spread to her diaper area. How can I get rid of this naturally without taking her to the doctor for some more medicine????

Thrush is a yeast infection. I'm wondering if you could use OTC Monostat cream...

Yes, OTC yeast cream would work. Yogurt it soothing, too, but you'd want the plain, not the dora yogurt. Less sugar the better.
How old is this little 'en? Are you nursing?
Acidopholis is the bacteria in yogurt that kills the yeasties. You can pick it up in any health food store. I don't have alot of experience in whether you can pass it to her in breast milk, but I *have* put the powdered in 2 of my kid's bottles when we had a bout of thrush.
Try to keep all sugar out of her diet. Yeast lives on sugar......you don't want to feed it. No juice, sugar, pop, .....nothing with sugar until at least a week after she's better.

I am not nursing anymore, so I'm not really sure at all how she got this. I think I will try the monistat, and/or yogurt. Thanks for all your replies!
