can't sleep

i'm just whining a bit. i can't sleep tonight. i'm having a bit of a flare up of fibro. my right hip is hurting. it's been hurting most of the day. my right knee and left knee were bothering me earlier, but they have stopped since i finally got to take my pain pill. i don't want to drive if i've taken a pain pill (slow reaction time after taking one) so i had to wait till this evening. so even after taking it and laying in bed waiting for it to work, my right hip still hurts and i can't sleep for beans!! third time in a month and a half this darn diease has kept me awake most or all of the night.

i have an appointment next thrusday with pain management so i can ask for something stronger or for something to help me sleep, but i'm just whining tonight.

I feel for ya b/c I have a hip that keeps me awake quite often.

counting down the days till the doc appt. i'm gonna to get him to get me some PT. i think that would help with stopping the pain from coming on in the first place.

I don't know much about fibro, is it usually muscular or joint pain, or both? Frequently my body aches, really aches, but it seems to be more joint related.

it's mostly the muscles, ligaments and tendons, but it can feel like it's in a joint. the pain in my hip is most likely a ligament or tendon thing, but feels like it's in the joint. i try to keep moving so nothing gets stiff or shortens, but without over doing it. i'm just starting up with a flare this week. :/
