Garlic Tablets - Natural Anti-Viral and Biotic
I've been taking one 2000 mg odorless garlic tablet a day for the last 5 years. I have found they help prevent illness and actually work as well as prescribed medication to fight off bacterial and viral infections. They also cost only $8.00 dollars for 120 tablets at CVS.
If you do get sick, simply take 1 2000 mg garlic pill every 4 hours just like an antibiotic and drink a lot of water. You will find you'll begin to start feeling better much faster.
Imagine a natural remedy that only costs $8.00 for 120 pills.
I became a believer in Garlic Pills in 2002 when I got an antibiotic resistant Bronchitis. I made several trips to the family doctor and none of the antibiotics they had prescribed had helped. I got online and started doing some research for alternative medicine and I found information about garlic. I immediately went to K-Mart and bought a bottle. I began taking the garlic pills just as I was taking the antibiotic, along with 1 1000 mg vitamin c, and drank about a gallon of water a day. Which I had been previously doing with the prescribed antibiotics. Within a matter of a few days the swelling in my tonsils had went down. I was able to start eating solid foods again, my throat stopped hurting, and I quit coughing. Within a week I was completely well again! From that day on I became a loyal supporter of Garlic.
I knew it wasn't a placebo effect because I had tried all those other antibiotics and they didn't work. I knew they were suppose to but they weren't helping. When Garlic pills actually worked, I was very surprised.
You can find out more about garlic here.

I've been using garlic for years, and the only time I've had to have antibiotics is for surgery once, and for a parasitic infection that doesn't respond to garlic.
I tell everyone about it! I also take one capsule every day to ward off infection. Nip it in the bud, as they say.
The only thing is, if you take it every day, it also kills the "good" bacteria, so you have to eat yogurt a few times a week to keep from getting yeast infections.

I'm a believer. Nearly died of a combination of 2 serious flu epidemics when I was in college. Doctors were giving up, but a friend asked a health food store manager, who recommended garlic - and it seemed to work. I have used in on several things in the 3 decades since (ok, I'm old, but I'm healthy in some ways!)
Thanks for sharing this. Incidentally, if some of you are worried about the smell, many are unscented, and you can eat parsley or take chlorophyll to make sure that you do not sweat out a garlicky odor.

Thanks for the information. I have a very poor immune system so I will definitely be adding garlic to my daily supplements!
