Default Can't Seem to Lift This Bad Mood!

The change of life. What fun! I've been so sad for the last few days. I can't seem to shake it. After hubby leaves for work I try to get busy but I end up on here or in front of the TV. My best friend sent me this beautiful card and had no idea I was like this. I'm having a hard time calling her back to tell her how much I needed to hear from her. I'm thinking I'll burst into tears. I'm a very happy, upbeat person so this is not me. I just want to get in bed and pull the covers over my head. Please keep me in your prayers. Sorry, I don't mean to bring anyone else down.

I understand, I have days like that when I just want the whole world to go away, far, far, far away, mine are linked to PMS.

Hugs to you, have some chocolate Usually helps me a bit.

I agree with frugalfarmwife about the chocolate.

Be good to yourself when you feel this way. And if it continues, talk with your doctor.

It WILL get better, I promise.

I feel that I've been struggling with my moods lately, too. I can't stand this perimenopause business! What I do is to try to walk for at least 30 minutes a day. It REALLY helps me feel better. Not permanantly, of course, but it does help for a while.

Sending hugs your way. I am having really bad PMS this week. I know I have been in a bad mood the last few days because my hormones are all out of whack. I am very on edge, people tick me off easily this week and I feel like I should wear a sign to discourage people from approaching me. LOL I am trying to do things I enjoy when I get home from work to pamper myself: reading a good book, taking a bath, having some chocolate or ice cream.

Thanks Everyone! Chocolate is a great idea! That wonderful hubby of mine keeps me in dark chocolate. He just gave me a new bar! Maybe I'll make sure I go to Curves tommorow too! You guys brought tears to my eyes for showing that you care and that you've been there. I love this place. I'm so glad my daughter told me about it. God Bless you all!

Hey - I'll keep you company! I seem to be on an emotional roller coaster lately, and don't know to what extent it is hormonal vs stress-induced from some other truly enjoyable (sarcasm) events going on. Someone suggested green tea, and it does seem to help. A cup now and then does not seem to make any difference, but drinking it or taking supplements routinely does seem to do so after a week or so. Hope you feel better. Sometimes it may help just to know you are not alone.

Hi! My mood has improved some. I'm trying to keep busy. I went out with my daughters this past weekend. I came home and my wonderful hubby had made me homemade chocolate coverd cherries. Now this is from a guy who never cooks! They are so good!!! As a matter of fact I think I'll go get one. Hope your day has been good!

I'm with Pip, get outside & go for a walk. It's amazing what it'll do for you! Even if it's raining, cold, windy whatever. Just dress appropriately & get out there! Breathe the air, look around, find the good in all you see.
Glad your feeling better but the above advice is good for all, everyday.
