    Default Burning mouth syndrome

    I have this problem and was wondering if anyone else has it or knows anyone who has it...TIA

    What is it like? I have something called a "biological tongue". I do not drink soda, because the carbonated water burns my mouth to the point of blisters.

    Have started any new meds lately. A friend of mine started taking Lyrica and one of the more rare side effects was burning and cold sores in the mouth. She has them but she says that the Lyrica was such a miracle drug for her that she would just put up with the sore mouth to avoid the pain she had before she started the Lyrica.

    No new meds....No visable signs like sores...It feels like after you have had a very strong mint in your mouth..its the roof of my mouth and my tongue..I had it years ago and it has come back...
