well had a meeting with my kidney specialist who flat out told me that if I don't exercise everyday and greatly limit my sodium intake i'm going to be a permanent patient of his. He added that he doesn't want me as a permanent patient and that I'm too you to be sitting in his office. Good news is that my kidney function went from one step up from kidney failure to functioning at a very good level and that my body has been fighting it's way back to health and i need to help it out ie. diet and exercise.

I've been reading my labels and basically resigned myself to cooking pretty much everything from scratch and avoiding restaurants as much as possible.
Any good advice from any you particularly in the low sodium eating department? anyone know of a low sodium list online? Also need to find a recipe calcultor where you enter in your recipe and it will calulate nutritional information. any help would be appreciated
