Well let's see,
think caveman meat meat meat
and green veggies
some people start with meat and eggs only for the first week, you will lose weight quickly if you truly 100% ONLY eat meat and eggs for that week.
I gotta say though, the burnout of meat and eggs is terrible by the end.
(note some say this is unhealthy so read up on it yourself first if interested)
Try to catch the tv show low carb cooking too
I eat the same basic things all the time:
-Sams bacon thats somehow precooked-I nuke it for 35 sec then papertowel the fat off.
-eggs in any form you can imagine
-lasagna with no noodles (this is borderline because the sauce)
(you can buy yummy low carb pasta sauce now though)
-turkey pepperoni- i use these as crackers/chips and out stuff on them, like cheeses or salsas etc.
-any meat you can think of with any sauce/seasoning thats low carb
-salads all the time, get creative
I basically eat what my family eats too by leaving out the carb in the dish.
Tuna casserole is just tuna and cream of mush soup etc..
No pasta.
Diet drinks you can have all you want.
It's really an easy diet because low carbing kills hunger and sheds excess water.
It's a real booster for someone just starting out
I would love to learn low carbing tips from you all.
My latest tip is Divinic Syrups. I got mine at TJMaz but Walmart sells the tiny ones now. You can create lots of moc deserts with them.
Using whipping cream, ricotta cheese, things like that.
The syrups come in more flavors than you can dream of.
Be warned too that a lot of low carb cookbooks are not low carb at all?
Also know that a lot of soy alternatives are questionalble.
You HAVE to watch trans fats, and fats in general.
90% of the so called low carb bars and products taste awful in my opinion. I like real foods as much as humanly possible
Can't wait to hear how others do this!

That is what I was doing just making my menu and I would just eat the non carbs things. I dont like a lot of eggs after going on and off low carb for years. I am finding it hard to try to go on low carb right now all my foods in the house are high carb right now. I may have 1 pack of chicken. the ham had so much brown sugar on it I know ti has so Meany carbs. the things left in my freezer are like chicken and gravy made with flour. meat balls out of a pack so they have carbs. list goes on and on . I may have to wait to go on low carb un till I can go shopping again.

Also I found low carb pumpkie pie, pecan pie, and chocolate mouse online. They were all very good.
More carbs than I normally allow but still a much lower carb count than the real thing
I cheated over the holidays and am getting back on board now.
Had my meat and eaggs today hahahaha...
Personally I can't live without coffee and sugar free french vanilla refriderated creamer.
