    Default Prayers needed for DH- Heart problems

    To make a long story short my Dh has high blood pressure, and takes a med everyday for it. Lately he wasn't feeling well, headaches, etc. Took his pressure and it was high for a few days. Long story short, they took him yesterday from work in an ambulance and he was admitted to the cardiac floor, with irregular blood pressure (HIGH) and he had been having discomfort above his heart going down the shoulder to elbow. He is only 45 years old but is a big man, with heart disease in his family. They gave him a nitroglycerin patch during the night, (amongst other things)and his pressure went to normal but it has caused more headaches. They are doing more heart tests today, and we will know something later. DD just had surgery 3 weeks ago, and is still recouperating from her surgery. I feel stressed and worried. Prayers are needed.

    Scary stuff. He's in a place where they can keep an eye on him and do what's needed to have him live a long happy life. Glad he wasn't stubborn and didn't fight going to the hospital like my Dad did 33 years ago. Modern medicine with all it's tests and things really finds out whats wrong and makes it right. If he hasn't been taking care of himself, this is probably a big wake up call for him. Some lifestyle changes ahead for all of you & he may be pretty cranky about that.

    I know you are worried so I'm sending you a hug. Please know that I'm thinking of you and wish him & your dd better health. Wishing you the strength to care for them both now & as you make the changes ahead.
