    Default Are you Freaking Kidding Me?

    So, I just got back from the doctor. Turns out, I have:

    pink eye
    sinus infection
    tonsilitis

    I should be from Texas...I like to do things BIG!

    Anyway, the doctor gave me an antibiotic to take. No problem. Except when I open the bottle, the pills are as big as the top section of my pinky! With the tonsilitis, I can barely swallow, and I'm supposed to swallow this horse pill? Sheesh!

    I'll suck it up. I'm just feeling sorry for myself. I don't do sick well. I have to stay home one more day from school. THAT is killing me. My students were supposed to be doing their Greek Festival presentations and now they have to wait. I feel very badly about that, especially for the kids who cooked food because they researched ancient greek recipes. I e-mailed school and they are making an announcement that they do not have to recook anything and that I will fix the grading so they have no penalty. I don't want them to have to buy the ingredients twice and do the work twice.

    Lordy woman, did you leave any illnesses for anyone else or just take them all for yourself? LOL

    As for the horse pills, want me to come administer them? I could do you like I do the horses, crush them, mix in yogurt or applesauce, put in a BIG OL syringe and stick it way back in your mouth to administer Wow, any wonder I"m not safe with kids?

    You take care, cuddle up with a good book and relax. And remember FINISH THE WHOLE PRESCRIPTION NO MATTER HOW SOON YOU FEEL BETTER!!!!
