Default How is everyone doing with their New Year's Resolution to lose weight?

Well I've lost about 1/2 of my Christmas poundage so far. I find it truly aggravating that it can take you 3 months to lose 8 pounds but you can gain it back in 2 weeks. Ggrrrrhhhhh....

Anyway I'm almost back to the starting point but wanting desperately to be there now. I'm drinking the water, doing the daily workout, had my cheat day on Friday, watching the caloric intake.... . It's just slow going.

How are you doing? Seeing any progress?

No loss yet, but no gain either. I'm just standing still. I have increased my salad intake, though, so hopefully...

Ive lost a couple of pounds, but Im really started to see a difference as far as how my clothes fit. Ive been working out everyday, so I figure actually losing weight will be slow coming since Im gaining muscle mass.

I've lost a few pounds since the 2nd of jan.
But I know as long as it turning to muscle slowly and not gaining, I'm happy. I'm over all eating better. And no snacking at night!!! Thats hard for me some nites.

~I'm down 2 lbs this month. I'm in the third month of my diet and I'm losing my motivation to lose the last 5lb. I want to binge on chocolate and french fries....wah! I'm very afraid of gaining back the 11lbs I've lost so far. And it's so hard to take fitness seriously in his freezing weather!~

~OK, I annoyed myself with my whiney attitude so after writing the above post
I put my daughter down to nap and took a 35 minute, brisk walk in the cold. Actually kinda fun and I feel better now!~

I couldn't tell you because I still haven't fixed my scale! LOL!

My diet is pretty good during the week, but it's tough to stay consistent on my training plan due to work. On the weekends, I can work out all I want...but the diet then goes to hell in a handbasket.

One of these days I'll coordinate it again. I did 2 hours of karate this morning I'm about to head out for a 1 hour bike ride, so that should burn a few calories.

Sounds like we're all staying focused (well except for Constance there for a minute and KJayEsq on the weekends lol). It is a day by day thing, isn't it?

Keep up the good work everyone.

LOL! And it won't get any better next weekend as BF and I are supposed to go out to dinner for a friend's birthday and this friend of course chose MY favorite restaurant so next weekend's diet is shot too. Maybe I'll just make Saturday my cheat day and be good on Friday and Sunday....yeah right.

    Sure you will

I know it's the same with me....I have to work hard at it...every.single.day. I don't have the advantage of the physical exercise that you're getting....I think it would kill me.
