Sounds more like gastroenteritis than the flu. Keep hydrated and rest. Stick to the BRAT diet of bland foods. Bananas, rice, apples (sauce), and toast.
Hope you feel better soon.

I agree with everyone...stay hydrated.
For nausea try ginger tea or watered down ginger ale.
AVOID MILK PRODUCTS LIKE THEY ARE THE PLAGUE!!!
No caffeine and no citric stuff (oranges, lemons etc)

what has worked for our family-
get some lemonade concentrate(pure lemon ). Drink it as strong as you can stand it -if you can stand it-do not dilute it w/water-drink it straight.- that zaps the bugs out of your intestines. Also other things that have helped-
Charcoal(pill form). Charcoal will bind with anything that is causing the stomach problems helping to rid your body of toxins. If giving this to young children who cannot swallow pills, break the capsule & mix the powder with ice cream(preferably chocolate). Charcoal has no taste.
If the intestinal problem is caused by a parasite, black walnut drops will kill it off.
There are other remedies -this is what has helped us...but you might want to try & see what works best for you. Hope you get better soon.Hugs
