Emergency Gall Bladder Surgery
Here I thought our heat going out, again, was going to be the interesting part of this week. I woke up Tuesday morning at 1:30 in excruciating pain. When we made it to the ER around 7am, the diagnosed my gall bladder and ordered surgery that day. It wasn't until 10:30pm last night that I was finally taken back for surgery. I am home now recuperating.
Apparently, some of my long-term health issues were most likely related to the "very nasty" gall bladder the surgeon removed. I'm glad it is all over with - and DH did get our heat fixed (between sitting with me at the hospital and coordinating family members who were helping us with the kids).Amy

Dang you've had enough for a while haven't you?
Those gall bladders can be NASTY! I can still remember the pain my mom was in with hers, and that was more than 35 years ago. I KNEW she hurt when she was on the floor in the entry way to the garage! Even remember the Dr. coming over and giving her a shot just to get her to the hospital!
Now you rest up and let them baby you for a bit, you deserve it!

Get well soon and I wish you
a speedy recovery." May we never let the things we can’t have or don’t have or shouldn’t have spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have. As we value our happiness, let us not forget it. One of the greatest lessons in life is learning to be happy without the things we cannot or should not have."

Take it easy and give yourself time to recover before you jump off and start doing the heavier stuff again. You'll be thankful in the longrun as you'll get over it quicker. (ask me how I know this
