Exclamation No longer a Pepsi addict - Yahoo!!!

For years and years I've drank Pepsi up to 2 litres a day and often 6 cans a day. It costs lots of money and I finally decided to make a complete break, when I went on my healthy eating program.

I started with 1 less a day and then soon went to 2 less and kept going down until I finally stopped drinking it completely. When we go for a drive now, I purchase water or bring my own instead of buying a Pepsi to drink. I found I didn't get withdrawal headaches and for the past 2 weeks I'm completely free of Pepsi. Yahoo!!!!

First I'm saving money, losing weight and feeling better. Can't beat that.

I'm now drinking water with one tall glass of orange juice per day.

So for those addicted to soda pop, you can break free.

You are my hero! I have a serious Pepsi addiction that I have tried time and time again to break. My biggest weakness is that I want to drink Pepsi with certain foods, at certain meals. Wayrer just isn't cutting it then

Any suggestions?

How about not eating those certain foods.

I use to be the exact same way wanting to drink Pepsi first thing in the morning, at every meal, inbetween meals, in the bathtub and in the car. I was so addicted to it that I always had a Pepsi in my hand or where I was.

Pepsi, along with any soft drink is nothing but calories, rots your teeth and isn't good for you. When I began to realize that every time I drank a Pepsi, I was added calories and more weight, I decided enough. What I drank in calories, I can now eat in veggies or food.

I drink water or orange juice. A cup of tea is also nice at a meal. I don't drink coffee and haven't since I was about 23. I don't like the taste of it nor the smell of it. Water is far better for you and helps you lose weight!!

That's a very exciting accomplishment homestead mamma. I have had one diet pepsi in about 2 months and I felt awful after I drank it. I won't do that again!

Now, if I could just quit the pot of coffee everyday.

i am totally addicted to mountain dew. i am going to cut back though i did it once and i lost a ton of weight but if i don't want to go to the dentist more than i have to then i am defantly going to quit. I actually maybe drink two a day but it is a waste of money because after a few hours i have to get a new one. think of all the cash i will save. so thanks for the encouragement.
