Pink Eye???

Any home remedies for pink eye....I already have the prescribed drops. Any info/advice would be greatly appreciated

Oh I had that last year after a particularly bad allergy season. The drops helped greatly. I looked better in a day or 2. I put a clean, cool wet washcloth on my eyes a few times and it seemed to help. The doctor probably told you, but if you used any eye make up while it was flared up, make sure you toss them out. Not a frugal thing, but not worth reinfecting yourself!

I truly think I got pink eye right after my allergies were really bad. It burns, and itches & its blood-shot looking. I didn't go to the dr, but I'm 99.9% sure its pink eye. I had the drops left over from about 4 mths ago when my daughter had pink eye. Grrrrr so tired of looking like I'm on drugs......lol Thanks for the advice claimsgirl66

my 3yr old DD just came down with pink eye today and I called her dr and he said to use saline eye drops for her 4 drops in her eyes 3 times a day and a cold compress on the infected eye 3 times a day for a week. my DR doesnt like giving out meds he's more of a home med kinda guy which i LOVE. so theres a idea for you.
