I need to whine just a bit...

Our whole entire family is sick! It started last week with one of my boys coming home from church, taking his clothes off, putting on his pjs and climbing into bed at noon. When a 9 year old ADHD boy does that, you know he's sick. He stayed home from school mon and tues. Then Wednesday, I began to feel it in the back of my throat. Wed nite, I had the chills all night long, no fever, but freezing! I woke up on Thursday so sick!! I could not sit or stand up with out feeling dizzy like I was going to pass out. My husband got the boys off to school, I laid on the couch while my daughter watched cartoons. Then I got my daughter to her crib at 10ish, and I crawled back into bed, feeling like I had been hit by a truck. That day never got any better. Friday I felt a tad better, still sick, but not dizzy. I sent my boys to school, but the school called with my other son, saying he had a sore throat and could I come and get him.......*sigh*
Interestingly, I had a standing dr appt on Fri for my arthritis in my hip, so I went and he checked me out for the cold. Turns out I delveloped a really bad ear infection, so that explained the dizziness~well, that and the REALLY low blood pressure. Ok, so now Saturday, I wake up with cold sores all the way around my mouth....Oh, yea, I wish I was exgagerating that one. They hurt soooooo bad, and I look soooooo ugly!! My cold feels slightly better, but my lips hurt so bad I can hardly stand it!
So this morning (Sunday), my hubby wakes up and says his head hurts and could I go get him some tylonel.....now he;s laying in bed with the pillows over his face, now I'm sure his head hurts and all, but how is with men they get a bump and the world comes to an end, but we are expected to keep going no matter how sick we are..?
Anyway, I feel miserable, and I just needed to tell someone! Thanks for listening.

ps - my mouth hurts soooooo bad!!!!!

Aww Traci, I'm so sorry! That stinks!

I hope you all feel better soon. I would call the Dr. and see if there is anything that can be done for your mouth to feel better. Keep us posted on how you are doing.

I hate when that happens. Just try to relax, don't worry about household things etc that need done, just rest and drink plenty of fluids, maybe some chicken noodle soup and hot tea for everyone. I hope you all feel better soon.

Oh Traci I hope you feel better soon. Try rinsing with warm salt water, and keeping mouth clean. That should help the pain a little. It is hard when moms are sick and the rest of house is too. (hugs) Take care of yourself. Glad you went to doctor dizziness is not good. Hope you got meds.
