    School called me on Monday and had me pick up my dd because she wasn't feeling well. We finally got into the Dr. this morning and she has both strains of the flu. My dh is also showing the same symptoms so the Dr. gave my dd, my dh and myself (to try not to get it) prescriptions. Hopefully, this household will get back on the road to recovery.

    I hope by now you are feeling 100% better!!

    I see you are in Oklahoma. I was diagnosed with both strains of the flu yesterday afternoon. I have been sick for 13 days now. Although, mine started with cold/bronchitis and then wham because my resistance was down (and I work as a TA in a Kindergarten class) I contracted both strains. It sucks! I am taking Tamiflu and praying nobody else gets it. At $100 a pop, I would rather them stay well.

    I hope your family gets and stays well!

    Stephanie - you need to get well soon....13 days is way to long to stay sick. I am sure you are miserable. I was watching the news and they said waiting rooms are full in the area I am in with children with the flu. As a matter of fact, the Dr. that we go to would not even take appointments this week, we just had to do a walk in. I made us get up this morning and get there so we were the first in line. It is really ridiculous this year!!

    Anyway, hopefully everyone in this thread has been to the Dr. and is on their way to recovery.
