Good for you. I didn't do so well this month, but this week has been a little better. I'm not giving up, though! I've set a goal of 10 lbs to lose this year, and I know I can do it.

~You did great, Heather. C O N G R A T S! I had a good month. I'm down 4 lbs, logged 680 fitness minutes and lost another inch on my waist and 3/4 of an inch on my hips. I'm really at my goal weight now but I want to build some muscle so I'm going to lose another 3 lbs and then, on maitenance, gain it back through weight training. Otherwise how will I know if I'm replacing fat with muscle or just maintaining?~

I haven't "officially" done anything on the live for life forum, but I started a new diabetes diet on the 7th. I've lost a little over 8 pounds, which has been nice. Long way to go, but a good beginning. However, let's not talk about exercise. Tra la la.... change the subject.

Yankee mom, did you like the baked sweet potato? I love them - it's the only way I eat them.

Wow, congrats everyone! I'm not a part of the program either, but I've gone from no-exercise to 5x/week for 50 minutes a day cardio. I've lost 8.2 lbs this month. I didn't measure myself or track my minutes exercised, but my clothes are looser, yay.
