    Unhappy Cure for shaky feeling?

OK, for two days now I've been shaking, dizzy, and very tired. I thought it might be my blood sugar being out-of-whack (like my medical term, LOL) again.... I'm not diabetic, but close.... but today I've been eating plenty of protein/ less carbs and I'm still shaking. I'm just getting over a cold (sore throat, sinus problems) but I really don't think that's it. Any ideas? Suggestions? I have a lot I need to do today but it's hard to be motivated when I get dizzy every time I move.

Maybe sinus, or an ear infection. Maybe dehydrated a bit.

Dr. Cricket says ear infection. I'm not a dr. (I just play one on t.v.) HA! Anyway, that's my guess. Maybe even just the fluid in your ear.

I felt that way with my last cold. My ears were plugged up too, so I just assumed it was a combo of the inner ear issues and fatigue. I agree with the above post too - could be dehydration - I didn't think about that when I was sick. If that's the case, drink plenty of Gatorade.

If you took cold medicine then the shakes or jitters could be a side effect just now shining through in your system. Agree with the dizziness probably coming from your ears-I let peroxide sit in my ears a few minutes and then drain as soon as I suspect any tickle or pain coming on. Good luck-hope your good as new again soon!!

I agree could be sinus or ears, I would as well suggest taking a multi vitamin with extra iron. I have terrible low iron in my blood and I'm self declared cronically tired. Hope you feel better soon. Do becareful its not sign of something more serious you might want to document your simptoms to track changes etc. Take care.

I've actually ended up in the hospital with dehydration that started out like that. Be careful, you actually can die of it if that is what is wrong. Also, if you are badly dehydrated, your body cannot absorb fluid correctly from your drinking water, and you have to have IVs. Then the problem is to identify what CAUSED the dehydration.

    Thanks for asking.

I went to the doctor at Urgent Care on Thursday as it kept getting worse... and many of you were right, it was an ear infection. A z-pack of antibiotics, some rx decongestants, two days off of work (and I only work two per week), and $70 later ....... yes, I'm feeling much better!

    Thanks, all!
