    Thank you, Lynn.

I too have struggled with forgiveness for decades. I forgive completely from my heart (or so I think) and then an angry thought will sneak in, and resentment takes it's place.

I want so badly to do this once and for ALL (toward 3 people mainly) ---I really do feel good and caring and UNDERSTANDING feelings toward them most of the time, but the past is a nasty thing.

I like the way the author says 'others failures'. It makes me feel more compassion for them, than to think they were intentionally cruel--to think that we ALL fail at some things, and this was just their failing.

I needed this today--thanks for posting it.

Your welcome! Whenever I find any negative thoughts trying to creep their way into my thoughts, I focus on NOW. The past can get the best of us if we let it. {{HUGS}} Lynn
