Any bike riders here?

I'm looking to purchase one of those bike racks that attaches to a hitch. Can anyone tell me some helpful hints on how? Like what are the best ones for little money? How do you attach you bike to the racks?

I really don't know anything about them. Looking to get me & my family out onto the trails this spring & summer - definitely need a rack to do it.

I am interested in this one too. I have a bike rack for a car I used to own. I have been loading my bike in the back so now I am thinking that a rack would be sooo much easier.

We currently use a roof rack system. It works great, very sturdy but it was expensive. Our on-the-trunk-rack was recalled (we did have issues with the straps coming off). It was much easier to load the bikes onto and much more affordable.

DD has the into the hitch type of rack. It slides into the square tube of the hitch. Her only concern with this type is that it does "jiggle" a lot and she worries that a bike will fall off. Bikes load easily.

The bike store we go to will let you "test" their bike racks. They will put them on your car and let you load a bike on and off.

I am really ready for the weather to warm up enough to start riding again. Come on Spring!!
