Just a few tips here that I just received for getting more leafy greens into your eating plan. I am sitting here right now with my green smoothie just thinking about how much good I am doing for my wellbeing. Lynn

Go Greens
*Daily Health & Success Tips*

Hi Lynn,

My tip for today is:

"Go Greens"

Yes, go greens!

Enjoy the benefits of eating more dark, leafy green
vegetables in your diet.

As you know, I'm a big fan of green smoothies.

But that's not the only way to eat greens.

You can:

Juice 'em!
Blend 'em!
Steam 'em!
Chew 'em!

Whatever you do... try to get 1 to 2 pounds of dark leafy
green in your diet every day.

Here are some of the benefits you will experience:

- Improved energy
- Stronger bones (because of the mineral profile of greens)
- Reduced risks of deficiencies
- Look younger
- Improved digestion

In fact... this is just the beginning! Some people report a
complete health transformation with that change alone!

Here are some of the best greens to consume:

- Kale: full of calcium, easy to use, many varieties
- Celery: full of natural sodium, an important green to use
- Romaine lettuce: full of minerals, easy to digest
- Spinach: great taste, full of minerals and calcium

And that's just the beginning... each green has its own
particular nutritional profile and benefits. So try new
ones, like: Italian broccoli, beet greens, mustard greens,
collards, and more!

Although I like to blend a lot of greens in the form of
green smoothies, I also enjoy some vegetable juice. Here's a
good mix:

1-2 carrots
half small beet
3-4 celery ribs
several leaves of kale
Spinach
Fresh lemon juice

Juice all ingredients except the lemon... add the former at
the end and enjoy!
