    Default Disability and Medicare

For anyone on disability on Medicare and not on Medicaid as a secondary, who do you use to cover the gap between Medicare and the balance. I can't find anything for people under 65.

you are meaning a supplemental insurance?

I saw AARP has some type of supplemental insurance. Don't know the details but it would be worth looking into.

I'm not the one disabled and on Medicare, but my hubby is (he's 52). We do not have medigap coverage on him, so we pay all of the copays ourselves. He did get an offer from the same company that he has his prescription coverage through, but we haven't checked into the cost or anything yet.

You may need to check on your area to find out what is available to you. Meaning Medicare HMO. Also see if your state offers any programs for aged and disabled. I qualify for a prescription plan that the state provides. Really helps ALOT!! You may want to go to your states website or social services website to help sort out what is available to you. Good luck. Hope things work out for you.
