    Default After a migraine...

I always get an intense craving for something sweet. Does anyone else have this happen? Any ideas of what causes it?

I've heard that some people get a craving for something sweet beforehand, that it can be a signal for a migraine coming on... do you get that also?

I have a sweet tooth all the time, with no good excuse!

Oh I'm a migraine suffer and I have never had a craving for something sweet before or after. I'm actually afraid to eat afterwards for the fear of vomiting (I vomit when I have migraines). But I do have to say, my migraines have really slowed down. They are the worst thing ever!!!

I am a migraine sufferer and after an attack, I crave coffee and chocolate. So something sweet doesn't sound too odd to me.

I have migraines, but don't crave sweets. But then I don't eat a lot of sweets normally. What I want is hot strong tea during the migraine. Might be my imagination, but it seems to help melt the pressure. After the migraine passes, I just sleep........

Had a migraine all day yesterday, and today my scalp is sore and tender to the touch. Does that ever happen to you all?

Yes. This happens to me after every migraine. Some times I can't stand to brush or wash my hair after a migraine.

And don't touch me during one. Even a simple touch to my arm is painful.
    Migraines are strange creatures.

I never had cravings....but one indicator we finally tracked was that I get COLD before a migraine attack.

I get migraines and cluster headaches, but no cravings. Unless craving sleep counts.

I do the same thing, crave chocolate.

I have found that milk chocloate brings on a migraine, so I eat the dark chocolate and haven't had one for almost a year.
