    Thumbs up March Check In

How did everyone do this month?

I'm starting to get bored again, so I'm trying to find new ways to motivate myself. I tried on all my clothes in my dresser Easter weekend, getting all excited about all the summer clothes that fit. I need to get smaller bras (band size, not cup size thankfully ) I found a pair of slacks, size 8/10 that I bought last year with the idea that they would be my goal pants. When I bought them, I couldn't get them past mid-thigh. Now, not only can I get them past mid-thigh, but I get them up over my hips and they are zipped & buttoned. It's not attractive lol, but there's definite improvement. There's this one dress (white w/ red cherries on it) that I REALLY want to wear this summer. That's my next goal

    Stats:
    March's weight loss: 5.5lbs (total of 18.5lbs)
February's inches lost: 0.75" off my waist, 0.75" off my hips = 5.25" in Feb (9.5" total) - this has slowed down
    New foods tried: tofu noodles
Total exercise minutes: 905 (not counting weight training, just cardio) this is more accurate than what Spark says...I'm thinking because they count the strength training just like Joyce said last month.
Total calories burned (through cardio): 11452!!
Total days I ate breakfast: 30 out of 31 - got carried away cleaning last Monday morning & forgot to eat breakfast <!--IBF.ATTACHMENT_149737-->

Heather, I have become freshly motivated. My body is beginning to bother me. People say I'm thin. (5'8" and 135#) Not bad, I know. However, I have an hourglass figure that puts wieght on evenly all over....this is NOT a good thing, cause before you know it, BOOM, you're heavy. I spent most of my adult life at 125. Then I balooned up to 174, this was during my fertility treatments, it will wreck havoc on your body. Anyway, buy the time we were in Russia, I had gotten myself down to 117 (it took me about 6 months).....that was in 1999, and I have kept is off, basically the whole time. However, recently, it;s begun to creep back up. I am trying to get 10 pesky, annoying pounds off. I have been going to the gym the last few weeks, and last night I walked across our small town and back in 70 minutes - 4 miles total. I'm watching more carelfully what is going into my mouth, cause I TOTALLY KNOW how to do this! Your motiviation is inspiring me THANKS!!!

I am back to eating healthy! I am at 117 right now. *Please don't flame me, I am under 5'0* and I want to get down to 105.

I'm still working on it. Mon' fri exercise. I'm trying very hard to not be so low carb and still keep my blood sugar in range and not gain but lose. It sure is a juggling act.
