Default Add another level of frustration to this surgery!

So, I went in for my ovary removal on Friday. The surgery apparently went well, but recovery has been hell! I have had 4 different surgeries revolving around basically the same theme, and even my hysterectomy was nowhere near as painful as this is.

I called the doc to ask about med for the pain. They will prescribe Percocet, which is what I took this weekend before they switched me to Vicodin (which is doing nothing). The only problem is I need to pick up the script at the office which is in RI. I live in CT and cannot drive yet.

Guess I'll suffer until tomorrow when maybe DH can go pick up the stupid script.

I understand it's a safety thing, but with the level of pain I am in (a seven, sometimes an eight on the ten scale), I can't seem to care!

    Thanks for letting me vent!

Thanks! I didn't have too too bad pain w/ the hyster, but this surgery has been awful. I am just unable to keep ahead of this pain. Well, it hasn't been a full week yet, so..... I'm sure in the long run it'll all be worth it, but right now that's just hard to focus on.

Finally got the stronger meds! Hopefully I will be feeling much better soon. I would love to be able to do more than sit on couch and watch movies w/ DS this weekend.
