    I do remember years ago there would be articles like "just because someone is overweight doesn't mean they aren't fit!"

    Sure, you can be overweight and have more endurance and strength than a thin person, but yes, the FAT still makes a difference.

    But of course it's also really important to remember that thin does not automatically equal fit.

    This lady does a good job breaking the study down. The rest of her blog is very interesting too. She does a good job of showing how to look at any article in the media that makes health claims and showing how to determine if it was a genuine study by bonified scientists or just a "study" done by a group fronting for a pharmicutical company trying to scare you into buying their drugs and/or weight loss products.

    am I the only person in the world who does not find skinny "folks" attractive?
    I know it's kind of unrelated
    but regarding all the links posted I would rather be "overweight" eating a good diet, with regular excersize
    than what I am, which is very small and curvy with a generally good diet and no time for excersize...
