Mad Hen's Fresh Air, Food, and Fitness Journal
Okay, the weight is going in the WRONG direction, so I need to start really tracking what is going on here.
I am trying to lose 27 pounds, and my goal is to lose at least two pounds per week, including this one!
Breakfast today: 2 hard-boiled eggs, one cup of coffee (cream & sugar) and a swig of Chocolate Silk to wash down the multi-vitamin.
Exercise today: Push-ups, sit-ups, 1/2 hour of aerobics/stretching with Denise Austin
followed by a four mile walk.

Lunch consisted of kung pao tofu and white rice. Also took a swig of fruit cocktail juice after my walk. (Yes, I drink from the carton. I live alone, so get over it!

Is there some place that you are tracking your food, other than here?? I know of a web-site that is really easy to use (plus it's free), that will count your calories, carbs, proteins, and fat (I think). All you do is type in what you ate for the day, if you ate something that isn't on their list, save the wrapper and fill in the nutitrional information!!
spark people . com
Keep up the good work, it sounds like you are really working hard at this!!
WAY TO GO!!!

Most of what I am eating is homemade and not really measured, so hard to figure out calories (although I could find an equivalent, I am sure, in a t.v. dinner and just use those numbers). My weakness is snacking, and I have found that just by making myself accountable on this log, I have NOT snacked (well, I did have those jelly beans), at least not near as much as when I didn't have to post it somewhere!
I did the whole calorie/protein/carb/fat counting before, and I found that I just can't keep it up for very long. It certainly DOES make you think about what you eat, though! Those peanut M&M's don't look near as tempting when you start reading the label!!
I checked out the website, though, and it looks like it bears further exploration!
Thanks for the link!

EEK! I went UP a pound!! I'd be freaking out, but I know my body is always about two days' behind my efforts. Still, no fun to get on the scale and see it going up rather than down.

This morning, so far, just two cups of coffee.DH aka Mad Hen

Okay, sort of lost sight of breakfast, but lunch was a tunafish sandwich and a glass of soy milk.
Took a 5.5 mile hike to make up for not walking yesterday.

Did my sit-ups and push-ups. Denise is on her own today, as I'm running out of time before I leave for work.

You are doing great, I wish that I had time to go for a walk!!! With two very young kids and a 5th grader who always needs help with her homework, I have like no time to go for a walk. Maybe I could try for a small one before work!!! hmmmm.... that would require getting up earlier, and right now I just can't do that, I need ALL the sleep I can get!!! LOL!!!
Keep it up!!!
Remember, muscle weighs more than fat!!!! LOL!!!!
