    Ooh, yeah, the "let's be friends" kiss isn't great, but it is better than just getting a stiff-armed hug! Maybe it was just the effect of time and distance. I wouldn't write it off. The best partners have to be best friends, too.

    got on the scale this morning. 109 from 107. 2200 calories will do that to you. didnt even bother to try to put on the jeans but did measure. no wonder my jeans wont button. i've gained half an inch on my hips. i have never gained on my hips before. is it a blessing in disguise with it not being on my waist instead?

    Afternoon Snack - 2 glasses of water, 3 mugs of black coffee and about a cup of S&V chips...bad me!!! (250 calories)

    Supper - a large garden salad with iceburg lettuce, carrots, celery, green pepper, tomatoes, 5 ounces of BBQ'ed chicken (yum) and calorie wise Creamy Cucumber dressing (300 calories...I'm not very sure)

    Evening Snack - one Caesar "drink" (150 calories)

    Total daily calorie intake - 1525 (Not very good. )

    BTW - My Dad took back their scale that I "borrowed" from their house. He gave me the scale from their house that they sold in the States. I checked my weight first thing this morning and it said 146 lbs. One pound up, but a different scale so I won't worry. Monday morning is my real weigh in so I'd better try harder form now until then.

    i've added a bible verse.

    ::laughs::

    point of the story: If a man dies childless, his widow is ordered by biblical law to have intercourse with each of his brothers in turn until she bears her deceased husband a male heir.

    That is funny, tsoo. I thought about finding some of the verses that no one quotes (because they are offensive and politically incorrect in this age) and adding those, but then I decided to just picket the whole bible verse thing. I asked in the Q&A why we aren't getting the same thing for Shakespeare, but I don't think anyone got it. Maybe I should have asked about Aesop's fables.
