~I'll join for a month. I have my annual 5# to lose by the end of January. I'll aim for 30 minutes a day. My faves are

I want to join in too. Dh bought me a WiiFit for my birthday in Nov. and I used it for a couple of weeks and then got busy with other things and slacked off. I want to start doing it daily again though and lose a few pounds. I can't post my current numbers 'cause I haven't done it in a while, but will try to get around to it.

Ugh! My WiiFit said my weight was up 1.5 lbs. since Nov. I suppose that wasn't so bad really considering all of the Oreos and similar stuff I've eaten. I worked out on my WiiFit for an hour yesterday evening. My BMI is normal and I put in a goal of two pounds to lose in the next two weeks. How's everyone else doing?

Dec 31/08- 0 minutes...excuses up my ying yang!!!!
Jan 1/09- 36 minutes and my Wii Fit age back up to 57, ugh!
I did the Island run and 6 minutes of boxing back to back and man was I a sweaty mess. Still lovin it though!

I would love to join this Challenge. We got the wii fit for christmas. I have only been on twice because the kids dont share well. lol. But when I went on today my wii fit went up and it says my weight is down. 1.1 pounds. So I am off to a good start now if I can get the kids out of the house it should work well.

Is anyone changing their eating habits or dieting through their Wii Fit challenge??

As far as eating habits go, no change yet. I don't plan on any drastic changes, I'm hoping that along with dail exercise that my attitude about food will change, KWIM. I think on the whole I will make small changes here and there, I know how to eat right, I just don't always pay attention.

I was planning to start yesterday, but my day got all screwed up with people who were supposed to visit but "forgot"
.
So I will be doing the Wii fit as well as WATP (Walk Away the Pounds) later for longer than I usually would to make up for yesterday's lack of exercise. I had hoped to exercise at least 4x/week, preferably 5x.
I also need to start counting calories again. I'm giving myself a few weeks to get back into gear, and if I'm not doing what I should, I will join WW and go to meetings (I'm currently an online member). I need the embarrassment factor of weighing in.
Anyway, I digress
I'll be on the Wii Fit later today.

~De-railed already! DH decided to lay our new flooring in the living room so my Wii is no longer set up. :-( I'll have to catch up next week I guess. In the meantime I'll just post my off-Wii fitness minutes.~

That means I'll have a day on you!!!!
I wont be changing my eating habits or dieting at all, I'm a compulsive vegaholic, literally I am addicted to fruits and veggies, if meat did not taste so freakin good I would be a vegetarian!!
I've been taking more coconut oil, added fish oil capsules to my regular vitamins every morning! I feel great and I am stoked about an awesome new year of getting into better physical shape!
My original motivation for this all was the injury to my back, hips and neck....I'm using the Wii fit to help with those items, and so far it seems to be working wonders!!
And I am so glad I have you all to help me along in my quest to a better me!

I just discovered this thing they call the WiiFit. I am astonished, and I want one, and I don't have the cash for it! I think I will save up...and then I'll join this challenge!

I started today!!!!
I'm overweight on the Wii adn in real life..lol. But I can't remember the BMI. I'm at a Wii age of 32, I'm currently 35 in real life so that is ok, I have balance..lol. No coordination, but balance I have.
I hope to do another 30 minutes today and everyday this weekend. It's nice to have it out now that the kids are in on it too. It makes setting up to play a 1 minute process.Mommy4ever to 4 wonderful kiddos. Homeschooling mom to 2 youngest.

I did 48 minutes on the WiiFit last night and used my arm weights separately. My WiiFit age was 43, but my BMI was down even more (it's normal), but I worked out right after supper so my weight was up 2 pounds. I won't be doing that again! After working out though, my weight had gone down some (don't remember the exact number). Today I'm going to do 30 min.-1 hour and my arm weights although my arms are sore from doing the pushups on the Wii.
