2009 Pound A Week Challenge Food Logs
I thought it might be a good idea if we kept our daily food intake separate from the challenge thread that way people's weigh-ins don't get swallowed up in the conversation.
I am doing Weight Watchers, so I will be counting points, but please feel free to count calories, fat, or whatever you want!
Today so far:
grapes (1)
water
crackers (4)
water
tomato soup and toasted pita bread (7)

Today:
Breakfast:
2 glasses of water
1 packet of oatmeal with 1/4 cup of walnuts (7 points)
Snack:
Bottle of water, bite of DS's cookie (Okay, I forgot to eat a snack)
Lunch:
More water, chicken pasta with a little bit of cream sauce that I made. (8 points, approximately)
Snack:
Water again, 1 serving of chips and salsa (3 points)
1 cup of grapes (1 point)
I still have half my points left. I had to add the grapes to my snack because my stomach was still growling after the chips and salsa and chugging a glass of water. Nursing makes me SO HUNGRY!

I've noticed that those of you who are posting what you eat, seem to do well losing weight, so I think I will try to log what I eat here.
I wish I had started yesterday, because I didn't eat much yesterday. Today, not so good:
Breakfast:
three homemade blueberry muffins
banana
coffee
Lunch:
sandwich of baked chicken, 1T low-fat mayo, shredded carrot, sliced celery on 2 slices whole wheat bread
Snack:
1 serving Chex Mix
Dinner:
apple
1 serving leftover pasta in sauce
Today was low on vegetables, high on starch, salt and fat! But I did drink several glasses of water.Last edited by RaineyDaye; 02-13-2009 at 05:54 PM.

Banana
Water
Lunch:
Vegetable Beef Barley Soup (1 cup)
Multigrain roll
2 glass of water throughout afternoon

Green Tea
Snack - none
Lunch - Chicken salad
Apple
Water
Snack -
1/2 oatmeal
sugar packet
Tea
Dinner -
Salad
Slice of Pizza
Water
Snack -

OK, I'm behind on my food log, let's hope I can remember:
6/10/09:
Breakfast:
Banana
apple
Water
Tea
Snack: Chicken salad (it was supposed to be my lunch)
Lunch: Business Lunch - Went to a stirfry restaurant where they cook in front of you - Put together a palm sized piece salmon, a cup of veggies a few japanese noodles and 1/4 cup of zesty orange ginger sauce.
Cranberry and seltzer water.
Alot of food, but all healthy.
Snack: 1/2 cup oatmeal.
Dinner: starving when I got home and DH was working, ate a slice of cold pizza from the fridge and an italian ice
(Note to self, dinner always has to be planned when DH is working).
6/11/09:
Breakfast:
Water
Tea
Oatmeal
Peach
Lunch:
Lemon Chicken vermacelli (yummy, but lots of sodium and MSG)
Lots of Tea
Snack: Mini Luna Bar
Dinner:
Baked chicken
peppers
baked potato
Red wine (didn't need that!)
Snack:
Microwave s'mores (2 graham crackers, 2 marshmellows, 8 chocolate chips)
I'm a drinking lightweight and the wine made me feel so good...I had to eat sweets (see my message on pg. 220 of the challenge thread).
