    ~Now I know why dieters eat tons of grapefruit to lose weight. I won't go into detail but I won't be eating that much grapefruit in one sitting ever again!

    Nuisance - you are doing so well!! All I'm gaining is the awareness that I am doing really poorly at 7/day. Will be going grocery shopping tomorrow to pick up some more veggies and fruit - our selection at the grocery stores seems pretty poor and expensive these days - so I need to plan better and get more creative. Mahalo for starting this Nuisance, obviously I need it more than I was even aware of.

    ~Got in only 3 servings each day this weekend while we were away visiting the in-laws.
    They eat very differently than we do but I tried to make the better choices with whatever choices there were. I caved and had a cup of potato chips each day. Yummy! Can I count those?
    I'm ready to get back on track.~

    ~I do wonder if I set the bar too high. The saying is "5-A-Day" I think, but all the online calculators and health sites say that 7 is the minimum I should have. One even recommended 9!

    ~I was doing good yesterday and had plans to have 4 servings at dinner. Well you know what they say about plans.
    DH surprised me by bringing home Chinese food so I had 2.5 servings instead of the 4 I needed to get to seven.
    Oh well. It was super tasty and I ended the day with 5.5/7.~
