Mahalo Vanilla. Sometimes I'm a slow learner I do not know why - my mantra has always been ....."I can do it" and then I just plod ahead. That comes from being an independent woman!! Am just learning to lean on others. Am now going to take a nap.

Yes we did want to hear it all and sooooooo glad you are ok. Next time don't be so stubborn about staying in the dr office. They probably noticed you weren't doing well enough to go home.

We used to put iodine in our baby oil.

MM, glad you got it over with.

Glad you got it taken care of MM.

Jas......that looks so sore/painful. Glad it ended up a small scar.

You two make me glad that mine are on my arms...but I have skipped a year for a check so had best do it. Am very fair skinned and have a hard time even tanning.

Yep.......did the baby oil thing too....plus nude bathing.

I have fair skin also and almost never tanned. Just fried.

I do think the doctor did a great job and the scar is minimal. I didn't know that going in though. She just kept saying I'll do a good job, it will look fine when it healed. I had no idea why she kept going on and on about it. I thought she was just going to slice the thing off. It was my first time dealing with any skin cancer myself.

She asked me if I wanted to see it before she sewed me up, I said sure, before she gave me the mirror she asked if I would pass out. I said I didn't think so. She gave me the mirror and I took a look OMG there was a huge hole in my face. It took 45 to sew it up. Of course most of the stitches are under the skin. Then it all made sense why she kept going on and on. I am so glad I didn't have a clue I would have been way more scared than I was.
