spent 35 minutes doing pool exercises today. Like the idea of adding steps when walking etc.

Acidcookie's milage tracker for May has made me think that next month I may track/set my goal for how many minutes I jog per week or month seperate from my regular total. I really struggle with improvements in this area (gee....I wonder if still being a smoker is part of the problem...). My consistency with it also decreases as the outside tempature increases. Heat is not my friend. A treadmill is always flirting with getting on my want list but I keep pushing it away for lots of other reasons such as space, forceing myself to be outside, ect. Keeping the jogging minutes seperate may be a good motivator for June. I'm not consistant enough with how far I can go before I have to walk a minute to use milage. Some days I can go out there and do a full 3+ miles before I have to walk for a minute and other days I can go 5 minutes and have to walk for a minute.

Big Thanks to Acidcookie for the idea.

Yay! Between a week out of town and a week stuck in dissertation writing I didn't even get close to my original goal this month! Here's to a high mileage month for us both!

    5/30: walked 4 miles
    5/31: nothing
I was under my walking goal for May by about 7 miles, but with all the yard work I had to do, I exceeded my total exercise minutes by about 150 minutes.
