Well I didn't eat horribly during the conference but still think I ate too much. Really didn't like not having access to calorie counter while I was gone. I tried inputting what I could remember and definitely went over 1500 Monday, maybe not Sunday though. I had a chance to get a decent walk in on Sunday, too.

Well, whatever. In any case, I'm back on track today with intake and need to get back to my workout regimen tomorrow, too. Had three days off now, that's enough!

Suma- sounds like you did a decent job, don't beat yourself up, you stayed conscious and that is what is important. Welcome back to the real world- haha

Peanut & Glory- How we doing girls??? Remember, this is a marathon, not a sprint - keep on plugging on...

QM-Are we going to see an awesome number from you next weigh-in? Are you staying focused??? You can do this!

    Yesterday was a good day:
b-fast- soy milk & a broccoli sprig (hey, it just sounded good)
lunch- homemade veggie buffet & a side of beans (for protein)
dinner- soy milk, small salad & fresh steamed broccoli w/garlic

I just realized that I had been mis-calculating my soy milk calories. I make my own milk from a powder, and each scoop is 100 cals & 20 grams of protein. I made up 2 - 12 oz containers each day with 1/2 scoop each. Not thinking sanely I was figuring each time I consumed a container it was 100 calories, which in reality they are only 50 each.... woohoo- love it when my errors are in my favor!

Down another 1/2 lb this morning. No official exercise yesterday, as my day job at the grocery is worthy of 2 hrs of straight aerobics as it is (or so it feels like it at the end of the day)...

Be specific in what you want, and use specific words. Empower yourself, and become the person you dream about...

Only then will you find that money can't be eaten.”

Well go figure. I walk for 3 hours, get up in the middle of the night and eat 1/2 c. tabbouli, and come morning I weigh a pound MORE than yesterday morning! I give up!

Our darn bodies....what the heck is their problem???

I know my day is coming fast where I am not going to see a lower number on the scale since yesterday. I have a sick feeling it is going to be tomorrow. Not that I deserve it by all means! I have been good today-

    bfast: soy milk
lunch: homemade veggie buffet w/side of beans
dinner: tablespoon of all natural peanut butter

and I had another crazy day of running like a chicken with my head cut off....but you just wait...it's comin'.... boo!

How's the rest of the gang doing? Come on guys, we want to hear from you...even if it is not all good. That's why we are here, to encourage and help each other on!.. Speak up we are listenin'...

Good to be back home, did my 6th workout with Jillian's shredding DVD Level 1 is getting easier! And I stayed within the 1500 caloric intake today - even if I DID eat 25 Rolo chocolate caramels Just got to eat a little less snack, but it was a yummy snack for sure.

Peanut, aww, well I can't explain that but it seems your body has different ideas than your mind!

SLS, looks like you're being successful, good job.

Suma- great job of keeping up with Jillian...

Peanut - here's what you do. Look in the mirror and tell your body that it better be very careful because you control the hand that feeds it....in other words, don't mess with me!

No loss today, no gain either...just sitting steady.

It's going to be a light day for me (expending energy wise) - (so says ME) - so I think I might just stick with drinking hot lemon/orange water and maybe a soy milk later if I start to get hangry. It will be a mini-fast day.

I wake up every day with the realization that this is it, that there's only one shot at this life and I can either enjoy the ride and live it to its fullest and to my highest potential or I can stay the way I am.

I am floored. I got on the scale this morning and it told me I have lost another 1.5#. Perhaps adding the workout stuff now has increased my BMR. We'll see if that holds until Saturday's weigh-in reporting but I'll be hopeful

Heck yeah, maybe! And really I am only doing 20 minutes with the circuit training video so it's not hard to fit into a day.

For some reason, FV messages have quit posting on my yahoo mail, so I've got behind here.

    Anyway:
    Breakfast: shake and coffee
Lunch: the beef out of an Arby's beef sammy (no bread), green salad
    Supper: salmon, zuchinni, salad

    Snack: protein bar

    Exercise: Curves routine

Weighed and measured: Still at 13 1/2 pounds down since the end of Jan. Not bad, but I'm stuck right now......

Sumacaroni: yes, one does have to make time still...when they have energy. I tend to wear myself out running errands. No energy for real exercise. I'm so confused in the exercise department I don't know what's exercise anymore and what isn't. I figure if I'm tired I've had some exercise. But it appears the exercise specialists I've seen don't agree with me.

I'm falling off the wagon today. DH left some Turtles in my sight on the main floor...right by the phone. Oh dear! I've had 3 now. I think I better stop. I definitely feel sugar cravings kicking in. I'm trying to cut back a bit on fruit because of a candida infection. Not sure it's necessary, but I'm trying to be pro-active before I see my naturopath later this month.

Maybe cutting back on fruit isn't good if it's got me going for Turtles!

Hang in there Peanut... Resist those Turtles!

I got thru the day with my lemon water fast. I did just eat a handful of tortilla chips (carbs before bedtime- hmmm), but they filled me up quite nicely, and now my tummy won't be able to wake me in the middle of the night saying. "I'm hungrryyy". (Even though I would tell it to get over it and roll over)....

I did 35 mins of a walk CD - slow motion of course (with fasting and all) but at least I was up and moving. Now I shall go to bed and get some beauty rest...(don't ya wish it was all that so darn easy...)
