Thanks to being a 'true frugalite' - I won't be able to weigh myself tomorrow morning either, coz I still have no battery for my scale. And I would never run out just to buy a battery - lol
So tomorrow afternoon when we are out playing Easter I can get a battery. Then I can finally weigh in on Monday morning. Until then, I live in total suspense....
I hate suspense....
Today I have eaten a handful of tort chips and just had a plate veggies....no exercise, but I napped really well!
Hope everyone had a great day ~ Tomorrow will be a killer!

Well once again I have fallen off the wagon (really bad this time, with both food and spending!) Am back and looking for some inspiration to stay on track.

You are here amongst friends....

I too fell off (the food part) of the wagon awhile back. Not only fell off the wagon - but got run over by the wheels to boot.
After I scraped myself up off the pavement, things have been much better. I am junk free 18 days now and counting. And I have to say I am in a much better place both physically and mentally.
I admit it took a 2 day fast to get the ball rolling (and my was it painful) but after I sweated it all out, things got and continue to get easier everyday.
Thank goodness for everybody here. It's nice to be able to just be yourself and get the encouragement you need, (when others around you are tired of listening).
Welcome back!

Happy Easter everyone...
Today will be a true test of your willpower. And I know you can do it!
My plan is to drink my soy milk (doing now)....lunch will be the food that I am contributing (cabbage/onions in balsamic vinegar & a small side of applesauce)....then another soy milk for the long ride home (3hrs)

Happy Easter! Hope everyone having a good day. :waves2:
I'm cooking at home today...ham, potato salad, and coleslaw, which are some of my favorite foods. I'm going to focus on portion control, as I know that has been a big problem for me. I'm expecting to have leftovers for lunch at work this week out of it, so I'll save some money there as well.-Suzanne

From what I can surmise from the SP calorie estimates, I believe I was able to stay under 1500!!! Even indulged with birthday cake (small piece) and 100 cals of light ice cream and we took a 2.5 mile walk this evening. I feel good about my willpower!
Hope you guys can report staying the course!

I think I did pretty well today, considering that Easter chocolate was all around me and i didn't have one bit!!!!! And we had a big family dinner to celebrate Easter and my birthday. I indulged in a tablespoon of cheese cake, but otherwise had lots of salad and ham and turkey and green beans. Then tonight, I just had a big salad again.
But tomorrow is my birthday (yeah, I know.... I've been celebrating for a week...) and now I face the challenge of going out to lunch tomorrow. And my sis is taking me out to lunch on Tuesday. So hoping I can exercise some self control.....Spiritual:

Happy Birthday, glory! Mine is Tuesday
I think I will bring a load of fresh fruit in to work instead of donuts or sweets.
