Calling all wanna-be losers...
I know you are out there - I see it in the thread view count...
You know the old saying 'The more the merrier' - (well the more friends, not the more pounds of course)...
It's never too late to start ~ and today should be your day...
So, jump right in- say hi - and let's get losing together!
“I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”
~ Michael Jordan

I am stuck at 115.4
My body is saying - "Is this all you got, this- I am not going to feed you on a daily basis thing that you have been subjecting us to????
"Well, take this- I am holding on tight to every ounce of fat that you currently have and not letting go. So there...."
Well you dang body - take this: "I am going to subject you to hours of hard physical abuse, also known as exercise! I tried to do this the easy way, for both of us, oh yes I did, but if you want to play - well then ~ game on!
And how was everyone else's week.....

Hey, my body is talking the same language Grr. I have no loss to report. No gain, but no weight loss. On a high note, all the walking and exercise is paying off in looser fitting clothing and a bit of muscle definition
Losing inches but not weight at the moment.
ETA - thanks for the birthday wishes

Loss tally for the week: 1.1 ounce. Now..... I am interpreting this as 1 pound and 1 ounce. That would give us a running total of 137.6. However..... if the poster meant 1.1 OUNCE, then we have a completely different number. Sorry..... I just didn't quite know which way to take the numbers!
Had to stop our art tour early today due to the threat of very severe weather, so we are home earlier than expected. Our part of the midwest looks green outside, and lightning is flashing.Spiritual:

No Glory, that was me and I meant 1 pound & 1 ounce.... (in all fairness, it's not that I am that anal about ounces ~okay, I am, but anyway- that's the way my scale registers...
Come on people... it's that all we got. 1 measly pound and an ounce.... We are so much better than this!
I am hoping that everyone just forgot to send in their numbers to Glory.
So today I finally broke that plateau - I lost that .4 ounces that I have been clinging to dearly for the past 3 days.
Next weeks goal is going to be 1.5 lbs. I could just make it easy and say 1 pound. But therein lies the whole point, this is not supposed to be easy. I find that I push harder when I have not made my goal (and I am very goal-oriented ~ when I make one, I want to see it desperately and will do whatever it takes to get there)

I'm in the States in a hotel far away from my scale, so no weigh in this week. Next week though.
I did measure my bust, waist and hips and discovered I've lost 3" on the bust, waist and hips at least. I am happy.2013 Challenges

Hey everybody ~ it's Monday morning
Time for a new week and a new you!
Yesterday I walked for 1.5 hrs while I was killing time between appointments. This morning I did a 12 minute stint on the treadmill, (6 mins walking, 6 mins running). I am going to try to do 2 more sets of these before the day is over.
Eating like a champ, and continue to ignore all the cries from the snack cabinet (I think my tortilla chip habit is soothing me for now).
No weight change this morning but onward I charge!

Breakfast: shake and coffee
Lunch: omelet and salad, with mushrooms and peppers and tomatoes
Supper: hamburger, brussel sprouts, salad
Snack: cheese
Exercise: Curves and cleaning mom's house
Scale is not budging. Am I in some sort of time warp? Frustrating....Spiritual:

Hi losers!
Well now I am stuck at 115 for the past 2 days ~ boy, this dieting stuff is hard....
But I shall persevere ...I see a big number coming tomorrow
Got in 2 sets of walk/runs on the treadmill yesterday. Ate like a champ. Today I am off to burn cals working at the grocery.
