Way to stay motivated Suma! Clothes fitting better are always a great sign that this is working.
Got 1.5 miles in this morning and will go for another tonight.
Made a huge pot of veggie soup also this AM. I plan on living on it for a few days. Had a smoothie for b-fast and just ate a bowl of that wonderful soup for lunch with a little protein milk. Dinner will be - you guessed it, SOUP!

A man was traveling and stopped at an intersection.
He asked an elderly man, "Where does this road take me?"
The elderly person asked, "Where do you want to go?"
The man replied, "I don't know."
The elderly person said, "Then take any road. What difference does it make?"

Dinner = 633 cals and I was low on carbs so I did the apple rather than the greek yogurt
Day's total cals eaten = 1241
BMR approx. 1775
Exercise burned 500 cals
Daily caloric deficit = 1000+
That is how I figure it.
There are 3500 calories in a pound.... so if I keep that up, I should be on track to lose about 2 pounds this week

My body said to my head, "I am not walking tonight"
My head said to my belly, "Then you are not eating tonight"
My belly said to both, "Oh - bullCRAP"
I just returned from my 1.5 mile evening walk......
(and just so you know, there are 3 major hills on this 1.5 mile course that I take 2 x's a day....)

My body jumped up this morning and said, "Let's WALK!"
My head said, "We have to be at work at the grocery soon, and we will be on our feet all day, you sure about this?"
My body said, "Let's W.A.L.K."
My belly said, "How about eating?"
My body said, "W-A-L-K"...~!
Another 1.5 miles under the belt. Smoothie in the belly. Head ready to go to work.
Just another Day In Paradise....

SS you are motivating me to get my butt in gear and walk. Yesterday I walked to the grocery store and back...a whopping 15 blocks total. Ah well, we start with baby steps.

Baby steps Peanut, baby steps.
On Monday when I first started walking the route it took me 30 mins. (Trust me, I was in no hurry, and it was in the early evening so it was really, really hot out there.)
This morning I did the route in 19 mins. And I wasn't running down the road. In fact, 10 mins of the time I was talking with my mother on the telephone.
I figure 1.5 miles 2 times a day. It's a walk right out my front door and back again. At least I can do this much.... (coming from someone who USED to walk for hours at a time every day)....
Keep up the good work girl!!!

Another 1.5 tonight. Had to once again tell myself to do it. But I am glad that I did now that it's all over.
Smoothie for b-fast, soup for lunch & soup/salad for dinner. Snack- a cup full of steamed broccoli. And of course I had to taste my zucchini stir fry that I made up from fresh zucchini's from the garden. That will be tomorrow's lunch maybe over a baked sweet pot.
Soup is all gone, got to get another pot made up so that I have an easy, go-to food around.
Hope everyone else is staying motivated and losing!!!
