I'm doing so bad at this one, w/the fibro I don't feel like doing anything lately, and it's been sooo cold here, you can't do all that much outside!

    I need MOTIVATION!

    My updates for the month:
So far in January, I've managed 420 minutes--with a few days off for a sprained ankle and I day off due to LASIK surgery--PM me if you want to know more about that!
my 30 minutes at the gym today was spent doing 24 laps, 2 miles like so:
    1-walk
    2-jog
    3-walk
    4-jog
    5-walk
    6-7 jog
    8-9 walk
    10-12 jog
    13-14 walk
    15-16 jog
    17-19 walk
    20-22-jog
23-24 walk and then lots of of stretching!!
Hope everyone is doing well! Let's meet this 900 minute challenge!!

    Is this still open?
I'm going to challenge myself. I ahve found that if I challenge on FV then I seem to get it done.
    So count me in!

I like the sound of this, heaven knows I NEED MORE EXERCISE, lol. And I simply have NO excuse for my laziness the past couple of years. I find this site to be highly motivating, so I am thinking I want to start this challenge in Feb.

I live 15-20 minutes' walk away from several good markets where I grocery shop (and a drugstore, too). So I am thinking I should MAKE myself walk to one or the other pretty much every evening.

Nice thing about being single and unattached - there's nobody to complain if this is how I choose to spend my time, lol.

What a great idea! I am putting stickers on a calendar for each day I exercise (I never got over my love of stickers!) But, this idea sounds so managable!

Ok, I know this thread is way old but I am going to do this. It is the only way I can get my butt off the couch and on a treadmill.

So, I'm still getting 120 minutes/week in Pilates. Well there is a Bikram Yoga place in town that does 'hot yoga' and they are offering 30 days for 30 bucks and they have classes 6 days/week. So I'm gonna sign up for that. that will give me like 300 minutes/week total if I do that for 3 days and Pilates for 2.

Wow, I started this thread what, 4 years ago???!!!!

And, now I am going to get on the wagon again. I am 6 weeks post partum after a c section, have lost 30lbs and have about 45 left to go (um, only 30lbs was the pregnancy, the rest was just laziness, lol). I have started Weight Watchers and I am joining a running club at the end of March with my neighbour. But I need to start exercising NOW to prepare for the running and to get some endurance back.

I am committing to this, even though with 2 kids under 2, it won't be easy!

    WISH ME LUCK!
