ISO a creamy chicken veggie dish

I love lean cuisine's creamy chicken dishes. Does anyone have a creamy chicken and veggie recipe that would be similar and low-fat? I know if I made it myself I could save a lot of money.

what if you just mixed together some non fat sourcream and salsa verde? other than that i have no idea, i'm not much of a cook from scratch gal

I know this is for soup, but maybe it will help with some ideas:

In a recipe that serves 4, substitute 3/4 cup mashed potatoes (whipped with fat-free chicken stock) and 1/2 cup fat free sour cream. Just wisk the potatoes into the soup in the last 5 minutes of cooking. Then wisk in the sour cream at the end.

My fav. creamy, chicken-veggie dish is tetrazinni, but it's not low fat......sorry.

maybe you can find a recipe in a cookbook that you already have and look in it for the items that are fatty. For instance, instead of butter, use a small amount of margarine or a lower fat margarine. Use skim milk in it rather that whole milk, no skin on chicken even par boil the chicken first.

Hope that helps, I wish I had a low fat one too.
