Preserving your Jack-O'-Lantern

To keep your cut pumpkins looking nicer for longer, try rubbing the cut portions with petroleum jelly. It will help the cut edges retain moisture and preserve the pumpkin. Or you can try just drawing your design on the pumpkin to keep the pumpkin fresh even longer.

I wish i had know that the other day, i told my husband that i wasn't going to buy them yet because they always go bad this early, then i have to toss and start over. thanks i will try this though.
