When/How do you clear out your Hobby/craft supplies?

I'm with Tater! You can't use "Give away" and "Craft Supplies" in the same sentence. I tired it once a few years ago and didn't you kow it within a week of doing so I needed several items I'd sent away for a new project. drat!
I've found its easier to sit down and do a couple of projects or finish up a few unfinished projects than to clear out my room.

I love, love scrapbooking...but I think, in the past I have loved Scrapbook SHOPPING more! This past weekend, I took some of my extra supplies and sold them at my LSS garage sale....made $166!
With the high prices at the grocery store, high prices at the gas stations, I have really cut back on my scrapbook shopping. Now, I will be able to buy some new things, but this $$$ will need to last the rest of the year!

I try to set a time period, like a month, where I can't buy any new supplies (usually fabric). That forces me to use up what I have before I can buy anything else.
