Default Need Ideas for Snowman Baby Food Jars

I used Lori's idea of the snowman jars using baby food jars. These will be gifts for co-workers and ds's teachers. They turned out VERY cute! (Please Santa, may I have a digital camera for Christmas?)

Dh didn't understand where I was going with the idea and wanted to put candles in them. That would be cute if you left the jar clear and used plain white parafin wax for the candle. I thought I'd make some of the marble magnets with a Christmas theme and put about 6 of those in each jar, at least for the teachers.

I don't know. I'm overstimulated and confused by all the great ideas you all have . What do you think? What would you do?

Have you tried snowman in a jar ? Paint the lid of the jar... You can purchase little plastic stovepipe hats at almost any craft store or craft dept (usually 6 for 1.00) use 2 tiny wiggly eyes (scale to the size hat you buy),
a nose made out of orange fun foam or a painted end of a toothpick or if a larger nose is needed, paint the end of a chop stick and cut it to size....... put all the items along with a little white glitter, into a jar.. Fill with baby oil (baby oil is better than water, it will suspend the objects longer and not turn rancid like water) Seal the jar if need be with silicone...... Shake like a snow globe.....

I made this snowman jar using a baby food jar. (Thanks Lori) It is absolutely adorable, though much smaller. Lori used a mayo jar. I'm trying to decide what to put in it for ds's teachers and or co-workers for Christmas gifts.

    Here's Lori's post

Sara, that is so cute and so simple. I'm going to get the kids making a few of those for the neighbours. What a great school project.
