I really like the bulletin board and the fridge magnets. I actually have some blue jeans placemats.

    Thanks again for the post.

"I have also heard of making a braded rug from brading pieces but couldn't quit figure it out. Has anyone done this."

I've never made a braided rug out of them, but why not buy a blank latch hook canvas, cut the denim into strips that will fit in the squares. knot them on the canvas like you would the yarn.

This looks like a neat project even a beginner like me can do.

Yeah, I've fallen in love with the recycled jean rugs at the Mennonite Central Committee site.I keep thinking I'll make jeans rugs! I love the pillow idea.

The jeans rug, the small one is here:

    Those are cute!

I have been working on my braided jeans rag rug, but it's slow going, becuase I keep getting blisters from hand sewing through the tough fabric. I do need to post an updated pic though, becuase it is getting bigger!

I think I'll be saving my boys old outgrown jeans for a braided rug also! It would be something that I would use more than a sketch book holder..although making a "carryall" pouch...is interesting too! Thanks for the cool link!!
