Question Anyone do cake decorating?

This is something I've always wanted to learn. At one point I even bought a Wilton kit (tips, pastry bag, food coloring, etc), but I never got around to really trying it out.

If anyone here does it, I'd love to see pictures of your "work"

My 13 yo dd took a class at Hobby Lobby last year. She actually did a good job on the things she made. It kinda made us all sick when we found out that delicious frosting was made of mostly Crisco!! Anyway, she made a handful of cakes, then threw in the towel. In her opinion, the pretty cakes were not worth the work of all the cleaning up!

I do for the kids birthday cakes and things like that, I am far from professional BUT I have learned tricks from my mother in law who used to do it as a job and from my hubby's step mother who has her own cake decorating buisness.....
