Thread: Need suggestions - yarn bowls

This is very pretty. I've never seen one like this before but I think it's very clever. (I have seen something similiar for cooking but it's a mixing bowl with small little side spout for pouring liquids like pancake batter. The potter I like to go to on rare occasions makes them.)
On the other hand, a couple people in my needle work group have made / bought yarn jugs. Basically they've taken large mouth jars with lids and put holes in the lids. Well, I'm not sure if they've actually made them but that's what they use. Either way, it's a cool idea. I should check out the local yarn store to see if they have something along those lines.

momof2boys2005 has an excellent idea. If you have a clay pot in the house, or if not, you can get fancy with something like this for $2:
