I like the lemon one too - it's a very cute arrangement! Very cheerful looking and inexpensive to make.

    I like the lemon one.

I once house sat for a lady who had a bowl of lemons and potatoes on her kitchen counter in a shallow, cream colored bowl. Surprisingly it was very pretty.

We all agree on the lemon idea - I just cannot afford the lemons to do it!!

Maui, it reminded me of the beautiful lemonade flowers you sent me for my birthday. As soon as I saw it I thought of you!

I like the lemon and whatever the pink and lilac one is. Cute but like the others I wouldn't buy the lemons to do it. However if you did and made a small slice in the lemon you would have an air freshener along with the decoration. That would be cool.

They say the lemons are artificial, but I don't ever remember those at the dollar store. Maybe some dollar trees carry certain items that other ones don't. But I do like the idea of fresh lemon slices and real flowers, that would be awesome! And an air freshener to boot! Too pricey for me, but it would be just lovely. I love lemons!

Now that you mention it, some time I ago I saw artificial lemons (and apples and chili peppers) at WalMart in the Crafts Dept.

Hmm...I wonder how much they are? I really like lemons, a lot. Just something about them. Love the aroma, the freshness, the vibrant color. Now I'm going to have to look for them. *grins*

Yup! Hands down love the lemon one too! I know I've seen artificial lemons somewhere. Maybe it was WalMart, but probably in the spring. But my thought was that you could probably add a fresh lemon to the fakes, and get that aroma you're looking for.

And not trying to take over your post, but thought maybe some of you would enjoy this site.>>>> dollarstorecrafts.com
I used to visit it alot, but again have fallen off my "crafting wagon". But...there's been some really pretty, and of course really cheap ideas on that site. Check out the archives if available.

    Thanks for the post!
